Cygnus, fire protection that’s proven in the field.
Robust, reliable and infinitely flexible, SiteDefender® supply, install and maintain the Cygnus range. This fire system gives you total peace of mind so you can get on with what’s important.
Wireless, ultra long-life battery powered units span your site no matter the size, allowing staff to raise the alarm instantly upon discovering a fire or even if someone needs first aid.
Our fire-fighting trolleys provide a mounting for call points and managed extinguishers. Heat sensors bring an option for out-of-hours monitoring with a call to fire brigade if activated.
Fire and First Aid Call-Point
Installed around the site, our call points allow staff to raise the alarm using a standard break glass sensor, triggering each call point around the site . All of our call points also include a first-aid alert function, this triggers an alarm in the site office showing the location of where the alert was raised so you can respond without delay.
Heat Sensor Alarm Unit
Heat sensors bring around-the-clock protection to your site, essential for projects with a timber element.
Once triggered, the entire system will alarm and a signal will be sent to our alarm recieving centre so we can contact the emergency services.
Fire Fighting Trolley and extinguishers
Each fire fighting trolley comes with a 9KG powder and 9L foam extinguisher and is easy to move about your site.
It’s also a useful mounting point for call points
We will manage those extinguishers as assets so you never miss a testing deadline.
Fire Base Unit
The base unit is installed in the site office and gives management complete control over the system.
Conduct weekly tests, locate the origin of alerts or trigger a manual evacuation of the site.
SiteDefender® Fire systems feature key integration with both our CCTV and Access products. When the fire system is triggered, an alert is sent to CCTV monitoring agents, any supplementary information could be useful for the emergency services.
Our Checkpoint biometric turnstile unit reacts instantly to a fire alarm activation by going into free-spin mode so people can exit the site quickly. In the site office, the access control station alarms and automatically produces a roll-call ready to print. This lists names, mobile numbers and next of kin details, so you have everything you need when conducting your post-evacuation checks at your muster point.
